TOUR ITINERARY

DAY 1, Friday, 1/14/11 — Leave New York on a direct flight on Delta Airlines This is from New York to Accra, the capital city of Ghana. The flight leaves late afternoon and arrives early in the morning the next day.
DAY 2, Saturday, 1/15/11: Accra, Ghana — We will be met at the Kotoka airport by TIDAC representatives and taken to Akropong, Akuapem in the Eastern Region of Ghana; which will be our base while in Ghana.
DAY 3, Sunday, 1/16, 2011 — Church service at Christ Church, Attend the Asafosa Peace Ritual. Debriefing after dinner.
DAY 4, Monday, 1/17/11: Martin Luther King Birthday — Travel to Elmina & Cape Coast Castles
DAY 5, Tuesday, 1/18/11 — Akrofi, Christaller — Visit to the Akonedi Shrine; debriefing at Anansekwae farm
DAY 6, Wednesday, 1/19/11: Accra —Visit to the DuBois Center, the Wolëmåi shrine; Visit to the Institute for Women in religion & Culture (IWRC)
DAY 7, Thursday, 1/20/11: Akropong — Visit with the Krontihene, Visit to the School of the Blind
DAY 8, Friday, January 21, 2011: Akropong — Day of discussions
DAY 9, Saturday, January 22, 2011: Akropong — Funeral in the morning, attend a Durbar, enjoy a cultural troupe.
DAY 10, Sunday, January 23, 2011 — Leave for the U.S.
