The Holy Spirit’s Work

Acts 1:8 speaks of receiving God’s power to be His witnesses.

Doing is a different thing from being. Sometimes the outside looks polished up, but the inner life becomes a wreck. Quite often the inner turmoil explodes, and then everyone can see what it appears to be the truth.

In our desperation to move closer to God in this life there ought to be a relationship with Him. When we cry out to Him in prayer for help, He more than touches our life in a powerful way. The outpouring of the Holy Spirit gives real love for God and His Word.

Receive this same Holy Spirit power so that it takes you from “doing” to “being.”
