Pleasing your Father in Heaven

Remember that no matter whom you work for, or who works for you, pleasing your Father in heaven should be your ultimate goal. As Christian employers our job supervisor should be Jesus the Christ and that we should treat each employee fairly and with respect. With the encouragement from Paul to show responsibility and integrity, we can work hard with enthusiasm.

“[T]he Lord will reward each one for whatever good they do, whether they are slave or free.” (Eph. 6.6)

Because of God’s gracious presence in us, improper language should have no place in our Christian conversation. We should always praise Him and remind others of His goodness every time we speak to others.

“Obscene stories, foolish talk, and coarse jokes—these are not for you. Instead, let there be thankfulness to God.” (Eph. 5.4)
